There's something magic about St. Zyprian. Who knows whether nature in this area actually has the therapeutic properties described by a Swiss traveler. Leo Gantenbein, a Swiss architect who came here on a holiday, says that he has found stones with beneficial effects on health near St. Zyprian, where the Schweigerbach and Tschaminbach streams meet. It is believed that the malachite, chrysoprase and turquoise found in this area can cure migraines, pains to the frontal sinuses, laryngitis and stomach aches. For the local inhabitants well-being is the fruit of the economic activities in this area. St. Zyprian is the gateway to green woods, valleys, cliffs and pastures.
